Strawbs-Benedictus
The Strawbs Benedictus from the Grave New World Movie
The track that changed my musical life. I bought the album (my first LP ever) and realised that there was so much more to music than the charts. Magnificent from start to finish.
The album art is also simply the best I've ever seen and the lyrics insert is magnificent too - an album you HAVE to ...

Strawbs - A Glimpse Of Heaven
From their "From The Witchwood" album, featuring Rick Wakeman on keyboards. (1971)
Wonderful song from a truly wonderful album - the 2nd I ever bought (Grave New World was the first).
This, like Benedictus from GNW, is a song which is not overtly religious but has a strong spiritual feel. I hate religious songs, but love these two.

Ah yes - I Can See Your House From Here - which is one of their 2 worst albums, by general consent (along with The Single Factor). The only redeeming feature of it is Ice, which is utterly sensational (or wallowingly self indulgent by your criteria).

HMS INVINCIBLE, SMS LUTZOW ,
@trims2u It would be a miracle if 11 inch gunfire caused it, as none of the German ships carried guns of that calibre!
Prinz Eugen mounted 8 inch guns; the nearest 11 inch guns were on Scharnhorst/Gneisenau which were c2000 miles away - a bit too far to do any damage.

You really are a complete tit, aren't you? Bonamassa himself thinks that the greatest guitarists are British/Irish - he admires Kossoff, Gallagher, Moore, Page, Clapton and the like and models his blues style on them. He's NOT a typical American shredder like Petruuci, van Halen...
