I do many covers as well as a few lessons on the guitar. Its usually always heavy, hardcore, post-hardcore, or death metal. I will make a few exceptions to some good alternative, or rock songs if they have an affect on me or speak to me. I take requests but just make it reasonable people. Some bands I find myself listening to all the time are Suicide Silence, Iwrestledabearonce, Webutterthebreadwithbutter, Haste the Day, Bring Me the Horizon, Cannible Corpse, Whitechapel, and so many more.
My current setup:

Guitar = Fender Starcaster

Amp = Line 6 Spider III 75 watt

Strings = Ernie Ball Super Slinky

Ive been serious about playing guitar for about 6 months.
Im 90% self taught. Except for a few minor lessons in the
beggining which taught me the basic chords and techniques.
