regarding your response: i appreciate the communication. the only problem is that your comment is meaningless because the terms "nigger" and "chinaman" are artificial constructs. they're culturally and morally relative. in other words, it's not what the old man said---it's the issue, condition, or motivation of his heart. and he clearly is not racist.
