..........................................Fatta has been my nickname since I was 14 and then around 16 I decided I wanted to be a disc jockey. I started listening to sound systems like Stone Love, Love Child, Syndicate, Classique, Climax, Road Star, Super Rock, and Inner City Disco. The first sound systems I started playing on were Playboy and XXX Disco. Then when I was 29 I finally got my own sound system and I named it Cash Money, then someone stole it from me. Once I was able to get another sound system it was named Icon International and that is when I became Fatta Icon. I started playing all over Jamaica and then once I came to the United States I played in places like Miami, New York, Bridgeport, and Boston. Now that I have a family I am not able to DJ full time anymore but I still enjoy doing it as often as I can. DJing has always been my first love. I wish that I could thank all of the artist that inspired me to get started. The biggest one's are Ragga Z, Zaro, Kiddy Famous, I Wayne, Baby Demus, Harmony, Deva Brat, Bascom X, Zabba, Nuclear, Guidence, Gandy, Nuffy, Angel, Mr. Wong, Hollar Dollar, Mr. Pepper, Marco Bran, Bertus, Hanebal, Mr. Bling, Prestige, the late Baby Wayne and the late Daddy Vic. I have many thanks to all of them and I hope they are all very sucessful.
