There seems to be a problem here in Turkey with Youtube. It's coming on and off. I also want to make a partnership agreement with an online film network company for my new documentary and I'd prefer Youtube, but I think this isn't available in Turkey. This is a shame because Turkey is the fastest growing economy in Europe (if you consider it European, at least geographically) with a population more than the UK ...

How to become a partner with YouTube?
I am about to finish a music documentary, and I am looking for ways to distribute it commercially. Someone has told me that you could be partners or an associate with YouTube, and get paid based on the number of times that people watch your movie? Is that correct? I would like to have more information about this. I am also interested to know how I can distribute the DVD copies of this movie. Your suggestions and ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your answer . I will cross my fingers. I ´m an Istanbul lover. I know the town since the beginning of 80´s and I come back often. Next time will be at the end of August . ( Sibels is an excellent choice )

Hey,
THank you so much for the support on Youtube...I wish you a great week... :)
MrErtunc (2 years ago)
I'm going to be uploading some of my music videos soon. Cruel Attention by the Revolters, which I copied from Sibel's Channel and pasted, is actually mine as you can see in the credits. It's the first band I shot about six months ago at Peyote, a music bar with two stages, which gives a platform to indie musicians from Istanbul and form all around the world in fact. Thanks for watching and rating my videos. Even negative comments are welcome, I strongly believe in free speech, although I doubt the two posters who commented on The Other Istanbul share this view.
