I saw him at the south mountain fair (near ottawa on). It was something else to se the mood/energy of the room when he played this live. It was moving. If you get to see him live do so. Not just for this song but he's a boss all around. A lot of solid drinking songs and good times all around.

I don't like nickelback all that much, but there's nothing wrong with them. For what they play it's pretty solid. I think people decide to hate them so they can be ironic and a part of something. It's like the goth kids on south park.
