Marvelous! And what a treat to see a very young Mike Hyman! I met Mike in 1979 when he was 20 touring with trumpeter John McNeil. They also did a big band seminar with the band I played in. i was 14 and was totally blown away by Mike´s drumming. What a ugely underrated talent!!!!

Got a Rega Planar 3 that i bought in 1980. it has been in use all these years and still works and sounds like new!

This show is amazing. had it on VHS, then on DVD. It was recorded very shortly before Buddy died and was broadcasted on BBC after his death as a Tribute.

Saw this band in concert in Oslo back in 1993. The sax player ended up in a fight with the sound engineer during the concert because the sound on stage was so bad! Vinnie stood up behind his drums and screamed "I cant hear a f*** thing!" Talked to Patitucci afterwards. He was in shock.

One of the most inspirational footage out there!
