This movie was just bad. The remakes of Friday the 13th and Halloween were good but this was just miserable. The only performance worse than Rooney Mara's (as Nancy) was Francis Ford Coppola's daughter's performance in The Godfather Part III. Bad acting, poor story, and no real suspense.

This scene is further proof that the Director's Cut rules. I can't believe these scenes were cut from the TC. A great movie overall, truly underrated; but it's fastly becoming a cult classic.

In the original ending... Laurie Strode is dead... These are her last moments before she dies.. A tragic story with no heroic ending... The best slasher movie of the 21st century...

This seems to be the trailor for the Director's Cut which is the better version. Fifteen minutes longer and better cut than the Theatrical.

The problem with the DC is the anonymous police gunfire that kills the main characters, which is my beef with the DC .. Michael killing Laurie or vise versa; Brackett killing Michael, or Laurie killing Brackett would have been better served. Or maybe Laurie killing Annie ...

This movie kicks ass and the director's cut is even better.

Definately underrated and under appreciated.
