Mine has the exact same problem... :( I'm going after the input shaft bearing. Mine doesn't get stuck in gear, but it's been making this noise for 2 years now, loud in 1st 2nd & 3rd then quiet in 4th and 5th. Can't seem to find another tranny so I guess I'm gonna fix the one that's in it.

I've always wondered why there is no way to grease "Hub Style" wheel bearings. I understand that in theory they are a sealed unit and shouldn't lose grease but the grease eventually breaks down and fails... To me, it seems to be some more "over-engineering"

@AeroxTeamClubken Thank you. I have a '94 G20. It has the stock skinny wheels, I love the they look with the wheels you have on yours. I also have the 5.7L V8. That is one hell of a dependable engine

Fuel pressure regulator for sure, replace that, change the oil and wha la.. had that problem before

well, the show does say that every part of it is a reenactment. But the fact of the matter is that just about everything they portray they do is illegal and unprofessional. Real Re-Po's never go down like what you see here on this show.. lmao this is all hollywood bs.

I love the fact that you worked on that engine to bring it back to life rather than just adding to a scrap pile and swapping it with a newer one. Nice Job, the engine does sound great

get some real battery power hooked up, that low voltage is gonna fry that starter trying to crank over an engine that's probably got a lot of sludge in it. Like the other comments, fresh gas in an anti-freeze jug is a great idea, and get that engine whirling over faster so it has a chance to prod...

you can buff that out... like the previous statement, It's a Mack, hard on it's driver but great to it's owner
