I have to admit though i wasn't aware UKIP wanted another two QE Class Carriers, although i'm sure they would get no objection whatsoever from the Admiralty ~_^
(that would make the RN & her FAA the strongest she's been since the early 1960's, when we had 2 of the Audacious Class & the 4 Centaurs').
Good to see i'm not the only one who supports UKIP and their plans, as it's about time someone stood up for our Armed Forces again, after all as "Admiral Jackie Fisher" (the man behind HMS Dreadnought a century ago) would attest a Country's Armed Forces will only operate effectively when she & her supporting industries are kept healthy through consistent support (Political / Economic & Logistic).
We might not see UKIP in Control of Westminster quite that soon, but as long as the Labo's are kept out & the Liberals are kept from messing things up (they signed the "1922 Washington Treaty" after all [which only the Yank's really benefited from], & payed for it by never winning an election outright since ; ) we can be somewhat at ease.

Indeed it does dismay me (more than i can adequately describe).
Although as the post 1922 & 1945 Cuts are testament to we have been relatively fortunate this time (in both the respective examples the navy suffered far worse, as did our Shipbuilding & Armaments Industries).
That said: at least unlike with the last "Queen Elizabeth Class" Carriers in the 1960's (which were conceived under the Tories & axed under Wilson's Labourites) these QE's are not just going to be completed but will now have an Angled Deck / Electromagnetic Cat's & Arrester Gear (which ironically might not have come to pass if not for the Credit Crunch).
