With over a quarter of a million downloads combined in the 1st year of his releases, Dashius Clay has set in motion what seems to be an inevitable rise through his devoted following. Not one to ever shy from pushing the limits, the combination of Dashius Clay's provocative art and ability to appeal musically to such a large base is what instantly set him apart. In early 2010 after gaining a buzz with his 1st single "Love Warning", Dashius set out to complete his debut mixtape The Highlights of: The Worlds Most Interesting Man. Achieving brief success and receiving positive reviews from just about every blogsite and music lover, Dashius dropped his first official video for his single "Forever" which initiated what would snowball into a dozen more visuals to come. In mid 2010 after remixing "Heartbreaker" with MSTRKFT and John Legend, Dashius generated enough noise to catch the attention of a handful of execs and dj's who wanted a piece of the action. Landing himself on mixtape after mixtape, it wouldn't be long before having to get back to work on his own next installment.
Connecting with long time mentor and producer Justincredible, Dashius Clay set out to create something that would be remembered every winter to come. Titled "BLUE DREAM", this EP exploded onto the internet and within hours of its release, it was being talked about and downloaded so frequently the servers on the site were clearly not prepared to handle it. While only releasing a visual for the favorite "Friday & Saturday", Dashius went back to where he started and began pumping out a variety of remixes to Lady Gaga, Chromeo, Tinie Tempah, Bruno Mars, Mike Posner, and Martin Solvieg just to name a few. One of his most successful remixes to date was for DJ Afrojack's "Take Over Control" which not only landed him steady radio and club spins, but branded his uptempo sound to perfection. With a a worldwide supporters ranging from Europe to New Zealand and back to the states, its hard to imagine it slowing up anytime soon. His uncanny ability to constantly evolve and provide new sounds gives hope to a lot more greatness to follow.
