if the gear fais why cant we just manually pump the gear down .......there are also gravity methods to get the gear down in case of failures(in FS2004 u keep pressing ctrl+g to get the gear down manually)

u could have turned engines to idle while hovering on the runway ..would have saved u the trouble of swaying from side to side (cuz both engines would be uniform at idle)..........u never give reverse thrust for only one engine
