True. My rule of thumb though is that if the AI can't do it, neither can the player. This game has great AI, but weapon switching is not something that I think it can do. Each weapon has a value to the AI and it will always choose the weapon with the highest value.

It is so easy to bypass an enemy army and then use Pillar of Fire to kill them when they come into your territory. The AI needs to learn how to use this.
