I have played guitar on-and-off for many years (mostly off rather than on), from when I was at school aged about 15. I am mostly self-taught, picking things up from friends along the way too. I taught myself many strum-along songs on acoustic but I never did learn how to play electric lead guitar.

Since discovering YouTube and online lessons - particularly justinguitar.com and vanderbilly.com - I have enjoyed something of a middle-age renaissance! Starting with the basic minor pentatonic scale, I am learning things I wish I had learned years ago ... playing rock and blues solos and improv !!

I post my videos for fun, as a record of my learning progress and to receive helpful and constructive comment.
