Clifford Charles is undoubtedly one of Trinidad and Tobago's best Guitarist With a history in music this "quiet storm" sweeps through the local music world leaving listeners spellbound. Born in Chaguanas Trinidad, Clifford always knew he wanted to be a musician.At age 18 he joined the military band ,there he honed his skills as a musician with the clarinet as his principle instrument while practicing the guitar. Charles spent 14 years with the band during which he achieved a grade 8 practical and theory on the guitar from Trinity School of music in London. He also achieved a certificate in STEEL PAN from the University of the West Indies, St Augustine. Still not satisfied with his accomplishment, Charles pursued and archived a bachelor of Arts (BA) in music from the University of the West Indies (UWI). Charles CD "Downtown Scarborough" is by far his best work to date. And he continues to mesmerize his fans and jazz music lovers alike with his style.
