I don't get it, i own an old E8400 / GTS 250 system and i get 65-70fps at places you get 26-27. Maybe it's because i'm still using winXP or the latest game patch was really awesome ><

I had exactly the same problem before with my GTX 280. But i changed my Core 2 Duo E8400 for a i7 920, problem solved. Console ports like this one are really heavy on the cpu (need more than 2 cores). You can't really expect better than this with a 5yo cpu.
