I took an estes D-12-3 motor i had laying around and modified it with 40g of flash as a header. It was launched at the beach so the report was muffled greatly. It was LOUD.

Thunderous titanium salute... i used a bit too much Ti but it looked nice. Flash powder: 70:30 KCLO4 and German dark Al 5413.. 150 grams. Tube thickness was 1/4 inch.
