I am looking at buying a 1911 and one of the three i am looking at is the ruger, I cant find anything bad about them and am curious if you have had some issuesn with yours or maybe some drawbacks.

I have been looking at 1911 videos for a few months now and think I have decided that this is the one I want. I already have a glock and am ready for a entry 1911. I'm not partial to either just think the 1911 is a better built gun.

I havnt had any issues with my dpms, and I have fired a ton of ammo through it, the only thing that I can think of is bad mag, no skill, or your using steel casings.

You didn't pull a part your bolt carrier. The firing pin gets hella dirty. I have the same gun.

That is a bad ass gun man, I like the optics on it.
