You're right, but most of those challenges were against the contestant's body weight to some degree, so that no-one had a distinct advantage.

It's not like I'm calling him a genius or anything. I'm just saying that he's NOT an idiot. I mean, you're right. He could be!!! But without knowing him, you can't assume that he's smart or dumb. He's just JT.

I totally agree with you. Making it to Day 39 is a huge feat. Regardless of how you get there. Even if you receive 0 jury votes, you still played a better game than everybody who got voted out. That's how I look at it anyway.

Okay, this is to everyone who's gonna respond to me in the future:

I love Cao Boi. It's a shame he got booted so early. He is a true pioneer. He invented vote splitting to negate the power of hidden immunity idols.

Wow!! So Cao Boi invented vote splitting?? Gosh, he's probably one of the most significant players in the history of the game if that's the case...

The ultimate dumb move that I hope will occur someday, is that someone gets blindsided with an idol in their pocket, on the last night that they can play it.

Yeah, I guess you're right, but she was definitely helped by the financial side of being a charity case. It wasn't shown in the editing, but at the FTC, people such as Rupert and Candice were bringing up all the things I mentioned below.

Don't get me wrong, I hate redemption island, but Ozzy played knowing that that getting voted off wasn't the end of the game.

The "lame twist island" doesn't just affect the people who get voted out, by giving them a second chance. It affects the people who are in the game. It changes...

I'm glad that they got rid of Redemption Island. Don't get me wrong, it was definitely worth experimenting for one season. But I kinda got bored of it in South Pacific.

Without it, players do EVERYTHING they can to not get their torches snuffed, which I think makes the game a lot more interestin...

I'm not really sure about hidden immunity idols, final 3, jury of 9 and redemption island.

I liked it when there were no idols, final 2, jury of 7, and once you're out you're out for good.

Okay. Now try winning Survivor without blabbing on to everyone about how you have a husband who's fighting in Afghanistan, while you have to raise 2 puerto rican children and you work as a bank teller. That way, juries might choose to vote based on actual gameplay not financial need.

The previous votes rule was VERY unfair. People may not like the purple rock rule but at least it does determine whether you're willing to risk going home in order to stay loyal to someone in your allinace.

I agree that a HUUUGE part of Survivor is luck. But it sounds to me like Erik is implying that it is blind luck. That's not true, the way you play the game is vital.

I like him. It's a shame that he had to be the victim of a brutal blindside.

He seemed to be so focused on his physical competition (James and Jason) that he forgot about the girls who were talking strategy behind his back.
