@3F05Q hey just came across this now.. my 03 1zz motor is popping codes up random misfire 1,2,3,4 and is running too lean. ive checked all the vac. lines and put hose clamps on them and changed the intake gasket, the injector o rings and grommets. it idles like shit and seems to surge acceleratin...

@2011josemattei make sure there is a belt on where the serpentine one should be if not haha.. replace that, and boost it/charge your battery

Wow.. any chance you are running the c60 6 spd that mates to the 2zz-ge? i have a fairly stock 03 pontiac vibe , 1zz motor just the same and a 5 speed. it has around 340.000 km on it, im the third owner and i kick the shit out of it. it takes it well.. these motor are said online to not like high...

@s0urgrapes if you stepped down to a 15" rim which is what im guessing the red trix did u would be able to, i have a 03 vibe 1zz, 5 spd and it will lay a solid patch spinnin 225/50/16.

@diftoyota yea i went through so much shit trying to figure mine out, was driving me crazy i had my computer flashed trying to kick the code out. the mill light went off for a few then after it came up to heat it came right back on, my buddy mentioned it to me that his aunts 05 matrix with a 1ZZ...

i have a pontiac vibe just as a daily driver, thing works great with 320000 on the odo now, 5 spd it will go thru the gears better than most would think ! i love mine
