Once upon a time there came a young man from the mid-West to the great state of California. He came by way of the military having joined up on his seventeenth birthday to escape the clutches of mediocrity and underachievement. Realizing that no where on earth is life more attainable then in this paradise of climate and changing opportunities, he set out to make his mark. Enjoying many successes, and equal failures, he reached a pinnacle in mid-life when he discovered his soul-mate. Now, in his senior years he reflects positively on his life, thankful to his God, his family and friends.
