The one thing about this version that makes it better than Chris Colfer's is the note Lea hits at 1:55-1:56. It makes the the song... The thing is, Chris Colfer almost certainly has that same note in his range, too. He just didn't go for it the same way Lea did.
I never get tired of this. It really is amazing how completely (and unthinkingly) the audience assumes that someone like Susan could not be a gifted singer. Piers is shocked... but why? What evidence did he have that she couldn't sing well? And I love, love, love how Simon handles it. I love that...
