I don't understand the lyrics since I'm not from the Cook Islands, but still love the music of the Cook Islands, after all music is the universal language and you can understand the feeling of the people.

Mahalo nui loa for sharing these songs of your reunion. Haven't heard these songs since the 1960's when I was cast member of Sing Out St. Petersburg, Florida (1966 - 1969), in fact we still have the Up with People song book.

My wife and I can highly recommend helmet diving with the Hartleys. We had the pleasure of doing it in 1989 with Greg's father and still fondly remember this wonderful experience. Greg in case you read this give our regards to our friends Annie Young and Eddy de Mello.

Am glad that I found the music of the Tradewinds on YouTube. Many years ago we purchased a LP by the Tradewinds while visiting Trinidad. Am not from Guyana, but music is truly the universal language.

We have this delightful song on the LP called Duke of Iron Sings Calypso.
