Sway - Level Up (Produced By @FluxPavilion) Additional Vocals By @Kelseysings
Sway returns in style with his brilliant new single 'Level Up' on 2nd April through 3 Beat Records. The track was Zane Lowe's Hottest Record In The World as well as getting the seal of approval from MistaJam.
Never one to conform to the norm, Sway constantly looks for ways to stand out from the crowd and he will have heads and ears turning with his latest offering. Combining Flux Pavilion's speaker-oscillating dubstep production with Sway's signature lyrical word-play and newcomer Kelsey McHugh's soulful vocals on the hook, 'Level Up' brings a unique sonic to the table.
"The song is about winning, elevation, going from one stage in your life to a better one," explains Sway. "I wanted to the capture that moment and that feeling we get when we feel like we've achieved something that will change your life."
The collaboration with Flux Pavillion came about when Sway was introduced to the producer's music by 1Xtra's Semtex. Making contact with the producer via Facebook, Sway discovered Flux was a fan and within weeks the pair were working in the studio together.
Sway ended 2011on a high. His single 'Still Speedin' became his biggest hit to date charting in the top 20 in the middle of the Christmas chart battles. It was an incredible achievement for Sway. 'Still Speedin' also became Sway's biggest radio record to date making playlists across the country.
The anthemic nature of the single made it a favourite for soundbeds on TV shows from Soccer AM to the Grand Prix and even BBC One's light entertainment show, Winter Wipeout. "It's taken a while to get this overall acclaim but it just goes to show that persistence is always the way forward," says Sway.
Sway is currently putting the finishing touches to his album 'Deliverance.' It will be released later this year and comes 6 years since his debut, the Mercury Music Prize nominated 'This Is My Demo.' www.sway.uk.com

Teddy Music's 'Doomed', featuring Dirtee Stank's Newham Generals, is the first offering from his upcoming release Grime: The Compilation. Featuring 22-tracks from the Teddy Music back catalogue as well as four exclusive tracks with Tempa T, Trim and Dot Rotten - it's a snapshot of the producers biggest and most influential hits to date.
Directed by Daniel Alexander, 'Doomed' sees the Newham Generals in their lyrical element over a rugged Teddy Music production with his signature low-end basslines and marching drum beat. The video manages to capture the raw nature of the lyrics and production of 'Doomed' and is the perfect teaser for what else is to come from the compilation.
Grime: The Compilation is out in all good record shops 30th January 2012 and online stores on 29th January 2012.

Traveller's Chant
Last week I was passenger in a car seat thinking of decisions that I'd made within a heartbeat. She used to make my heartbeat, it usually alarms me lungs are over-working and I can't breath. Yes I convinced myself I didn't like relationship malarkey she said, wait, you didn't ask me how I felt. I said I love that you're a nice girl and I'm sorry but this really wasn't timed well. It kinda feels like it was maybe a Blur, maybe coffee and tele is what I'd mainly prefer. Feel like I've gotta scratch the surface gotta break it to learn and now I multiply the times in which the tables have turned.
CHORUS
I call this the traveller's chant whether you're sitting on a train or in the back of a car thinking maybe it's me. Yes I do have places to be (I've got places to be) And do I start at the end or do I end at the start, in this little bit of time will I get very far? Maybe it's me, yes I do have places to be. And I'll be there.
Yes Yeah, the other day I was sitting on a train but in another place, I was on my way home but maybe some would say I was thinking about the days I wanna run away. I've only really got a couple mates; me, myself and I, how cliché. Looking out the window feels like I'm in a film; director, producer and as it happens I'm the main character. Yeah my own little feature length soundtrack being whatever's in my speakers then. I'd rather not be held accountable, I bank on people's feelings it's no wonder why I'm feeling spent. Yeah, and in a deeper sense Sometimes I need the rain it helps me kind of clean my head. The sun's an easy friend. I'm thinking maybe the duration of my journey's helped me reconnect my feelings then.
CHORUS
Oh woh woh oh (x3) I got places to be and yes and I'll be there Oh woh woh oh I'll be there Oh woh woh oh (x2) And I'll be there....
CHORUS (x2)
