TOO REAL FOR WORDS ...

About Me:

Yo, I was raised in the early 80's , so I'm no stranger to real hip hop or real rap music... Such as LL Cool J, Mc Lyte, KRS 1and so forth... So I was one of the more fortunate kids of today, because I was able to see how rap music has made it's changes and has taken it's toll in most of lives from generation to generation... I can recall back in 1996 being on the "late" bus to school and hearing the first rap tape that I ever heard that really caught my attention, which was "It Was Written" by: Nas... From there I was turned on to Biggie, Tupac, DMX (two of my favorites), Jay~Z, AZ, CNN and so on... That was back when NY was really gettin' it's shine on and really grabbin' the attention of the next generation of young listeners, which was later known as "Generation X"... (my generation) The wildest generation of young kids to hit the scene since the wild wild west... But at that time rappers where people that really had somethin' to talk about such as what they had been through, how they had been raised, their thoughts, feelin's and emotions, etc., etc.,... So that's the generation that I would say had molded me into the artist that I am today, even though I was around in the 80's when the message was more so about stoppin' the violence, fightin' the power and gainin' more unity... I was just too young to relate to what was bein' said at the time... So when the 90's hit and I was able to relate and to keep up with what was bein' said, I gravitated towards it... Because the rappers of that time told the stories of my life and they helped me to realize that I wasn't the only one that was havin' a hard time growin' up like I thought I was... And so I played my music all day, everyday and twice on Sundays as an expression of how I was feeling with every passing moment... And also, so that I wouldn't feel alone or like noone understood me... From there I started writtin' journals, poetry and raps to express how " I " was feelin' at that time do to what " I " was goin' through... But I think that some of the best raps that I've heard where those done with couplin'... Like when you hear a singer in the background doin' the chorus and the rapper in the forefront , because it gives you that vibe of explodin' through the rap lyrics and then simmerin' through the chorus so that by the time the song is done, your mood has evened out... I call it "rap ritalin"... And that's what I'm givin' ya'll, another form of medication (rap ritalin)... Somethin' with the same vibe as yours that can help you get through the day without havin' to lash out on somebody... And if you listen close, you might even learn somethin' from the mistakes that I've made... So when you hear me rappin' about bein' Blood or bein' in prison or bein' in the streets, don't take that as I'm praisin' that lifestyle... Take it for what it's worth, take it as though that man been through a lot of stuff !!!... Bloods are 5.5 million strong nation wide and with me bein' a part of that 5.5 million and to have done the things that I've done for that 5.5 million I feel as though I should have a whole lot more than just 14 subscribers to my channel... But I don't, so that should tell you somethin' and that's the same way that I want my music to be heard .... ~1~ SIN
