"I am certainly "Marked by Grace". My husband LIFTED me up in life and showed and motivated me to understand just how great the world around us really is, if you choose to love versus to abhor, and if you understand that adversity is an opportunity to learn and grow. I have chosen in this life-time with my Mark's help to DIVE right into this adversity and "tragic loss"; to make a positive life for my daughter and me and to motivate and show her that we have the POWER to make our life happen. Dealing with loss and dealing with adversity is significant part of life for many and teaching Madison and those who surround us to deal with loss and deal with adversity using our god given strength and courage puts Madison and all of us on a firm path of personal growth. When my daughter was born just two and a half weeks after her daddy's physical life was taken I knew that my husband had left me with greatness. She was strong, beautiful and had a calmness around her that "soothed my soul" and softened our loss and new state of adversity. She was certainly the great light that had come into my life and motivates me on a daily basis. I wanted to make a difference in life for her, Mark and for myself, so that I could start the process of restructuring my family. The sheer serenity that Madison brings me today is a beautiful mystery. She so eloquently carries the love and the heart that her dear daddy had possessed in this life. I was "Marked by Grace", and I would make a life for us based on those thoughts.
When I am asked to be a keynote speaker at any event, I am always graciously honored. We love to speak, to tell the beautiful story of our life and what we embody. As a keynote speaker I discuss dealing with loss and dealing with adversity so those in the audience can learn and hopefully become motivated by our story. We love sharing our lives and letting others know the greatness that comes from within if you only TRUST and have faith. As a motivational speaker and a keynote speaker, I keep mentioning "We" and not "I". For the reason that Madison Grace is the "closer" in the chronicle of our lives; she brings it all together for us. She comes up on stage as part of our keynote speech after I speak and tells the listeners in her own words what she is thankful for. The pride that I feel each time I hear her is overwhelming, "my cup runneth over." I could not imagine being a motivational keynote speaker on that stage without her and because it is "our" lives and not just "mine" we come as a package - a "team."
As a keynote speaker we always understand that many people in the audience are dealing with loss and dealing with adversity in their own lives. We know the pain that can be caused by loss but more importantly we understand the power of healing and that life still inspires all of us do what we have set out to do. No loss and no adversity will ever stop the enlightened soul from reaching their goals and living with love and happiness.
