Working for the same company for 22 plus years. October 10th, 2008 has made twenty years that my partner Dave and I have been together. June of 2007 we were legally married in the state of Massachusetts. Our three sons, Brian, Allen, and Nathan were our best men, and my youngest daughter Renee and daughter-in-law Jennifer walked us to the altar. It really doesnt get any better then this!
We enjoy good wine, food, and friends. April 14th, 2007 the last of our son's, Nathan moved out on his own. Like all the rest, we wish him all the best. Not that we won't be helping out now and then. But, happy to finally have a little privacy and I do mean just a little. Now my Mom has moved in and needs our help as well. A wise old and good friend of mine, my former mother-in-law used to tell me, what goes around comes around. Hang in there friend, were all in this together. My partner David and I both were previously married to women, and have five biological children between us, three of which weve raised together. How is our life so different from a straight couple? It took lots of love, money and patience to raise this family, there was not much time for bars, and or social life that didnt include the kids. Our eldest is 30 and youngest 27. I really get a kick out of how some people use the term, homosexual life style. Exactly what is that anyway? lol!
