@SiegeFox28 If you're still reading this, he's not. The female characters (and their seiyu) are the only thing that carry over from the original. This was made by a different studio, different directors, and with different intentions.

One of the better OPs, in my opinion. I'd play this song if I had a band.

Futakoi Alternative is a different beast. I think that it's designed more as a send-up of harem, and if anything else it feels like a sedate version of FLCL. Which is hardly a bad thing....it's a funny, sweet, well-done, well-animated, and (occasionally) touching little series that, in my opinion...

Not sure I'd quite agree that there's no romance (there's....something....there with Genzo that they don't go far into, which is sad, because I like both of them quite a bit). Still, good review, and I'm with you on your opinion of the series.

It's a fun song. This video is....terrible, though. Close-up shots of people's mouths are never a good thing.

Mostly, this is pretty damn good. My only real complaint is that the exact same combination of Elfen Lied and "Invisible Touch" was done in AMV Hell 0 several years ago.

Yes, this should have been accepted. It's better edited than many of the videos that did make it in, and I personally don't think that 40 seconds is too long.

Well, it's a trashy song, but setting it to "Ogenki Clinic" was genius on Zarxrax' part.

An excellent AMV of a superb series. I only wish the song had a bit more punch, but the scenes fit the lyrics and the tone perfectly. Great job!

See, I never see why more people don't like the Ben-Ten parody. I hated that show, but the song fits the anime perfectly, and the editing's great. That and "Not wearing underwear" are some of my favorites in that video.

@madhatter0082 Well, the Spice and Wolf one was one of my favorites (can't say why. It just matches up very well).

You missed a couple. That "Balls of Steel" one could've gone in (you can't see any genitalia, nor even bare breasts), and there's a "Sumomomo Momomo" clip that isn't porn but that looks like it could be from a hentai series (and which uses a song that is....sexual...to say the least).

You seem to like the "Please Twins" metaseries; it's always in the intro.

Even better. And the "Sir Robin" song makes anything funny.

Okay, this one's much better. I don't know what happened, but I'm finding a lot more of these funny. Good improvement.

No, I think the first one would have fit in. AMV Hell 4 had so much toilet humor and skits with....tasteless...jokes (the Steve Irwin one for one), and plenty that would have gone in an Adult video if they'd made /0 at the same time instead of afterwards. This one would have balanced it out a bit...

The "here comes the boom" one could have been accepted if the sound quality were a bit better...

1. If the Lain clip had been better edited, that would have worked really well.

3. The "Religious Genocide" is worthy....but something tells me it would have fit better as a minis entry, or as part of AMV Hell 5. Those two have a different feel from 3.

This one makes me happy. It's not roll-on-the-floor-laughing funny, but it makes me smile. It's smooth and non-abrasive in a way that a lot of the entries are. Good job.
