Really like 'we're open tonight', I especially like the big bass thuds. Can't say I have ever been fond of 'to you', I think this could have been replaced by 'Cage'. There are enough rock songs on Back to the egg. This track is a bit surplus.

This is probably (along with Lindiana) his best unreleased track, I cannot understand why it was taken off the album. It is fantastic. Could have easily taken off another track 'to you' for example. This is multi parted and adds some more fun to the album.

Sounds in parts like the Flying Pickets on the album Freudiana. A good track on any album, but unreleased, this is a gem.

Sorry, just don't like this. Not much tune and he just can't rock like he used to. He sounds old. That youthful quality is lost. And this at over 10 minutes is absolute agony to sit through. Horrible.

An absolutely fantastic song. Can't believe this is not released. It is Paul at his romantic best and he really defined this type of music that fit well in the 1980's. This should have been on Press to Play, instead of many weaker tracks.

OK, so he han't got the best singing voice, but compared to 99.9% of singers nowadays, he is better. And he barely did any vocals in Genesis. That in itself just tells how good he is! This isn't the best song ever, but still fun and commercialish.

This is music at its best. A wonderful ballad; wonderful piano part and orchestration with some great rocking guitars. But Miles' voice is another thing altogether. Exceptional. This is his best song I think. With 'Home' and 'Music' (predictably but obviously) close seconds.

Very beautiful song, very good baritone voice. No-one sings this well nowadays, and has such depth to their voice.

An absolutely phenomenal track. What incredible vocals, soaring at one moment, then baritone the next. Very nice synths and bass on this track. Only a-ha could have such magical melodies. Listen to 'take on me' also pop perfection and 'there's never a forever thing'.

I hope the title 'great woman' is meant as a sarcastic dig.

This is their second best song, behind Queen of Rain. And it was only a B side! It boggles the mind how this track could not even be on album, and it is better than every single modern song I have heard.

He has a fantastic voice. I don't know how he reaches those notes. Try 'Never fade away' though. Listen to the fade out as they keep going up the scale. Is he gonna go HIGHER??

Wow, what a beautiful track. One of their best ever. Such a shame it is not on one of their regular albums. What beautiful vocals from both, almost sounds like a theme tune to a walt disney film from the 1980's.

Hautning - a fantastic melody. Just as good as anything by John and rivals Paul for excellent melody. I could see this an excellent ballad, with piano and strings.

This song is absolute rubbish. However, why Revolution 9 got on the album and this didn't, is a mystery. While this is nonsense, at least there is a melody and structure of sorts. Revolution 9 is just a mess.

I love this song. One of Macca's best ballads ever. Such a beautiful and atmospheric song. Fantastic bass stuff as well.

Mike is fantastic. Shame he only sung one/two songs per album, as his voice is fantastic. This is one of his best compositions in his typical, romantic and slightly naive manner, which is so endearing. He definitely provides Level 42 with that softer edge. My favourite member of the band.
