-Things I think Theist are wrong about.
•Intelligent Design is anything but intelligent and it is not science.
•Evolution and Atheism are not synonymous. Accepting Evolution does not automatically make you an Atheist. Just like accepting Atheism does not mean you accept Evolution. Hence many deity worshiping Theist believe in Evolution.
•Evolution is not a religion, no matter how much you would like it to be. Evolution is the foundation of Modern Biology (a science). As such it does not lend itself to any supernatural or metaphysical research. Furthermore it has no deities, which by many definitions is just one of many requirements for a religion.
•Atheism is not a religion, no matter how much you would like it to be. Atheists have no belief in the supernatural or the metaphysical. We have no belief in your deities. We do not reject them, we just do not believe in them. To reject them would be to assume that they exist, and as such Atheist do not reject them.
•Atheists, contrary to your beliefs do not hate your deity. I know this might be a shock to you. And in truth it's something so simple a child could figure out, but a Theist will never understand. Its really difficult to hate something you do not believe in. We only care about your beliefs in as far as they affect others and the world around us.
•Atheists have morals. They just aren't defined by your deity or your holy book. We have no need of a deity to tell us how we are supposed to act. We need no threats of punishment or promises of rewards to make us do the right thing. We do the right thing because it makes us feel good.
•For those of you who claim there is no evidence for Evolution. I know it's too much to ask, but I'll do it anyway. Can you open your eyes and stop ignoring the facts just to justify your bronze-age-myths which stole almost all of their traditions from the very pagan religions you revile?
•You may think your religion is the only "true" religion; and you may think your deity is the only "real" deity. This does not mean that there aren't other religions and other deities out there. There are thousands of deities between hundreds of religions. Just because you think you are right doesn't make you right.
•Arguing that Evolution is "just a Theory" without knowing the difference between a "Scientific Theory" as in scientific research and the "common Theory" of your your favorite detective show hints of ignorance of the facts. Trying to argue your "God Theory" after pulling the "just a Theory" argument is tantamount to stupidity at its finest.
-Things that aren't proof of your deity
•Pretty pictures and peaceful music are not proof of your deity.
•Major disasters where only a few people survive are not proof of your deity.
•An apologists rationalizations and linguistic gymnastics are not proof of your deity.
•Ignoring years, decades and centuries of research to claim any part of Science is false is not proof of your deity.
•Your favorite sports team winning because you prayed for them to win is not proof of your deity.
•Passing a test in school is not proof of your deity.
•Winning a lottery is not proof of your deity.
•Having a belief of a deity in your heart is not proof of your deity.
•The fact that your holy book says your deity is real is not proof of your deity.
