I do this all the time with regular Master locks, but I tried for hours on a Master combination lock with the little key hole in the back. I could not get it to work.

Is the "Spokane" they refer to Spokane, WA? The Columbia River is nearby with a desert in between, so the Eastern Washington terrain fits with the song.
