@madhawarock Water is going from a low concentration OF OTHER STUFF to a high concentration of other stuff. That means it is moving from a higher concentration OF WATER to a lower concentration of water. It is tending to equalize solutions.

Beginners have to already know what the sine wave represents. It would be helpful to put little dots flowing through the wire and animate the current. This video just shows what an oscilloscope would show, not what is happening in the wire.
