Music. Animals. Collecting antique dishes, china, powder boxes, vintage jewelry, etc. I like to cook and invent new recipes. I like to sew (quilting) and I make jewelry.I also am "Grandma" to two beautiful young ladies, ages 19 and 21, who were lovingly adopted into our family by my youngest daughter and son in law. I am so proud of them. They feel blessed, but it is I who is truly blessed by having these two wonderful girls as my very special grand daughters.

Feb 9th, 1964. The T.V. was on, my Mom brought out my Birthday cake with 6 candles lit & as my family was about to sing Happy Birthday, Ed Sullivan said " Laddies & Gentelemen, THE BEATLES " Everyone made a Bull rush to the front room like a Herd of Cattle to the Coral to go watch The Beatles. I sat there with my cake set before me. I blew out the candles,cut myself a piece of cake & ate it as I heard Paul sing " All My Loving " More of 1964, next time. What an awesome year that was. Speaking of awesome. That would be you Terri , Bye : )

1960 to 1963. Payolla scandal, Kennedy's president,U.A.W in limbo with aledged ties to the M.O.B. Bay Of Pigs Invasion, John Glen in orbit,, Cuban Miss Crisis, & J.F.K shot in Dallas. My uncle Tony died in 1962 as my oldest sister Rose graduated from H.S. Dec,22nd , 1963 was a somber day in our home. My aunt had major surgery ( Heart ) & my Dad got hurt at the plant, but was O.K., he did prevent 6 other of his co-workers from getting hurt or killed. 1964, next time bye Terri, you awesome lady you. : )

Feb 10th, 1958. The Detroit Lions are the N.F.L Champions of pro football. The Dodgers & Giants move to L.A. & San Francisco. Eisenhauer & Nixon in the White House. Elvis, Buddy Holly dominate the Pop charts with a new sound called Rock & Roll. Television # 1 entertainment venue & Augustine & Caroline Rocha welcome their 11th & youngest child into the world, Manuel ( Manny ), It was a cold & wet & windy day, 42 degrees.
