About Me:
Bella was born on December 10, 2003. She is a eight year old female Queensland Blue Heeler. =) I've had her since she was a puppy, though we've only recently gotten into clicker-training (we started when she was six years old). A handful of her tricks were taught before we discovered clicker-training. However, ALL of our work with agility equipment thus far was taught before we got into clicker-training. So, we're new with it, but we're learning and we're having fun.
Although Bella is eight, she is still very active. She loves hikes, walks, and swimming. She also loves playing ball and Frisbee as well as doing agility. Bella knows 42+ tricks and her repertoire is continuously expanding.
Bella has her CGC certification (Canine Good Citizen Certification) as well as a Novice Trick Dog Title, Intermediate Trick Dog Title, and Advanced Trick Dog Title. She graduated at the top of her class in basic obedience, and was also the star pupil of our basic agility class. We practice agility at the local dog park. We'll hopefully be getting more serious with agility soon-she's so fast on the obstacles and quick on the uptake!
A picture of Bella was also selected for and published in The Most Adorable Pets in America American Photographic Collections the 2011 Edition
A little about me:
I'm 20 years old and attending college in Flagstaff. I'm a junior starting this school year. I'm studying photography and thoroughly enjoying it. I'm planning on doing wildlife photography or domestic animal photography (maybe both!). Bella has been my amazingly patient and photogenic little helper and subject with practicing photography. =)

A few general books I would recommend anybody read would be Ayn Rand's Anthem, Orwell's 1984, Scott Westerfeld's Uglies trilogy, and Robin Wasserman's Crashed trilogy, just to name a select few. A few animal related training/understanding books are "When Pigs Fly" "Bones Would Rain from the Sky" "Animal Language" "The Emotional Lives of Animals" and books by Monty Roberts and Temple Grandin
