Help at home, so you can stay at home.
Routine daily activities can become more challenging as we age. In the past, this meant that wed have to rely on the kindness of family and friends to help with activities that we could no longer perform for ourselves. It may even mean leaving your home to live with a family member or in a senior facility. Monarch brings the help to you, in your home. Friends and family cant always be there, so theres Monarch Senior Care. Were just a call away.
No one does more to ensure your safety
Your safety is our first concern. We realize that opening your home to a stranger and entrusting them with your care can cause concerns. Thats why every Monarch employee is subject to the following screening process as part of joining the Monarch team. Personal References Check
Drug Screening
Professional References Check
Fingerprinting
Criminal Background Check
Random Drug Testing
Motor Vehicle Violation Record Check
Proof of Insurance
Our screening process is more costly and time-consuming than our competition, but in the end we believe it provides higher caliber employees. All employees are insured and bonded.
Training and certification
Its not enough to have found the right person for the job. Training is critical to delivering the kind of service you expect. All new Monarch employees are required to successfully complete our initial training courses developed by renowned author and expert on senior care, Celi Adams RN, ONC. Training doesnt end there. As a condition of hire, our Caregivers are also required to pursue the CCA (Certified Companion Aide) training and certification. They must begin the training within 30 days of hire and are expected to pass the tests within 90 days after that. Training continues when the Caregiver is assigned to a client. The Caregiver is trained on the particular needs, processes and equipment used in the clients home. Further training (called in-service training) is given routinely to brush-up on existing skills and introduce new methods and procedures.
Golden Rule +1
Our guiding principle is Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You and then do one better. Measuring ourselves against the Golden Rule Is our way of ensuring that we treat you and your family well and always exceed your expectations.
