My name is Mona and i'm 18 years old, born in 8 november 1993. I am from Persia, (Iran) which i am really really proud of.

Words cant describe how much i love to dance, or how much it means to me. I don't see it like dance its more like art to me. Even more than love. Its more than passion. It feels like i have a fire inside my that never ends, even that feeling cant really descrive how much i'll love it. My mother always told me never give up, since i was a child. That says much about my strong personality. This is my will, and this is my hapiness.

Nevertheless i hope you really like my dancing, i learned dancing by my self. And i just wanna thank you all for your nice comments it means so much to me!

I am really shy as a person, even when I am on stage i am shy, maybe you can see it on my videos maybe not but this is something many dont expect of me because I dance, I am very quiet and calm, I don't like talking much. Sometimes I feel dancing is the only thing that bring happiness in my life. Sometimes it feels my life doesnt have colours and bellydancing brings the most beautiful colour and make everything around more beautiful..

I really don't know what to write, but I want you to know that I care about you all so much. And everyday i sign in just to read your comments, it makes me alive somehow. I want you all to know that NOTHING in life is impossible, life itself its possible and if you want something just reach out your hand and grab it. Don't let anyone tell you that you cant, because people are jealous and its hard for them to be happy about someone else success but you can. Live for yourself not for others. Build up a good life for yourself. I believe you can.

"I am so interested in festivals but you know, many things makes me sad. I hate competition. I think its so wrong, i have been against it whole my life.

Bellydancing for me it is like.. black and white movies, a dancer moves her elegant hands and dance, the stage is JUST hers like in another place in same second another bellydancer is dancing and the stage (floor) is just hers. Everybody has the right to be a bellydancer but they dont need to dance together.. Bellydance comes from one heart, and one body, ones feeling and passion.

Competition destroys the look of bellydance and also for what it is. People are changing it and it makes me sad, it is not about that I am worried that I am going to loose or something, in my head i am always the winner. It is about keeping it classy and elegant for the dance. Respect the dance and it will respect you." - Mona
