@pparado next time you season be sure to flip the pan upside down and put a cookie sheet under it, that way the oil won't pool and burn....HTH!!!

@miketheday I appreciate the way you described how YOU never use soap but that her way works fine. My Mom, Grandma, aunts, family friends each approach their cis diff, some never soap the 'cornbread' skillet, but will mildly wash the 'breakfast' or 'chicken' skillets.
