Accept, we ask You, their sacrifice and their belief in the justice of the cause they died for. Let their offering not be in vain. Please forgive any sins and faults they may have committed. Speedily, we implore You, bring them into Your Presence where fear, sadness, mourning, and death cannot exist.
Have pity in Your loving kindness on those they leave behind. In Your own unsearchable ways, make good for their absence, and lavishly bestow Your love and consolations on those deprived of their presence. This we ask in the Name of Christ, our King.

The story behind the magazine cover;
It is a really bad bad idea for any man to touch me on a COLD day, then to add a fuzzy sweater to the mix and you get explosive results.
It does get cold in Georgia and as I was sitting in the middle of my computer class a male classmate came to ask a question. As he reached out to touch me there was a loud explosion, a big "KA-POW". The whole class was looking around asking if a computer just blew, but all they saw was poor Richard plastered against the wall, one arm and one leg were raised as though he was trying to climb the block wall backwards.
There were 3 burn spots on my back from the hooks were the static electricity had leaped from my body and bite the shit out of poor Richard. But let me tell you this, it hurts me just as much as it does the man who touches me.
Story 2 ;
My husband decided to go grocery shopping with me on a 36 degree day in January and this man is an electrician by trade.
When reaching for a can of soup "Zziitt" or grab a cooler handle - crackle-pop jump a foot, gotta find some gloves even if it does look weird :)
As we walked through the store he thought it was funny to touch me every few minutes just to watch me jump, fuss and smack him over continuously shocking me.
Well, after walking down an aisle with no mishaps he decided to lean in for a kiss and sparks literally flew, after that he wasn't interested in shocking me anymore, LMAO.
Lost count of the singed lips so now he cautiously pokes me before a kiss:)
Electrifying personality wouldn't you say ;)

My Letter of Gratitude to All who Fight for Freedom;
Hello My Guardian Angels, I have rewritten this letter 6 times because of things I began to realize. As a well-trained Unit, from the soldier who turns a screw or a wrench to the Generals to the ones who pull the trigger, SO MANY are involved with each mission.
This letter in truth belongs to everyone who fights for FREEDOM!!! For YOU are a part of the greatest mission of all, "FREEDOM FOR THE WORLD"!!

This letter is for SEAL Team Six, DEVGRU, Navy SEALS, Delta Force, Army Rangers, SAS-British soldiers and ALL those involved with hunting Zarqawi for they do not know what they have done for me. Several times I have heard the Coalition Forces being compared to Thugs, Terrorist, or Black Water and that's SO WRONG.
The Coalition Forces as I have come to understand them are not Superman, but supermen of the human race for your intelligence, your abilities, your morals, and your strength. You are NOT TERRORISTS, but Ghost Warriors, 21st Century Knights,
NEW AGE PALADINS.
You are the ones, the only ones who can do the wrong thing for the right reason. When a life is taken in order to protect the many, then you are doing the right thing and God will not find fault in you because you are fighting his war and protecting many of his children.
This is my story:
On June 10, 1999 my beautiful 23yr. old pregnant daughter was killed by a hit & run driver leaving behind a 3yr old son.
7 years later........Facing a tri-state move in May '06, I was in a depression so profound that when the news was announced on June 8, 2006 all I could do was blocked it from my mind.
In July of 2008 the information resurfaced and was brought back to my attention, at the time it had hit the news there were some computer disks that had been found in Iraq containing the plans for 6 American Schools. As I remembered the events, my grandson's school was the only one spoken by name. He is all I have left of my daughter.
While searching for information on this operation I found an article that said Zarqawi had permission to kill 2 million of America's children, OUR BABIES. How can I repay you for the life you have given back to me?
This school is within 100 miles of the Center of Disease Control (CDC) plus the Atlanta Airport; it is also within a 100 miles of a large Military Base. (I really shouldn't let my thoughts go there.)
Your deed has been written into history! A Discovery & National Geographic documentary has been made of the event. In this documentary the agent speaks of a principle who had to sign papers before they would tell him what was going on. Signing papers? The authority made sure that he understood the threat.
The principle is someone I have been face to face with on several occasions.
I cannot began to tell you of the emotions that have ripped through me.
