Having been baptized catholic and had a stint in catholic school I rem having to wear scarf or head covering to church and at certain other times- never thought anything of it and certainly not even degrading though I have dropped catholicism for various other reasons. I do think a head covering is not a necessary every day item to feel forced and obliged to wear however. Nice video thank you.

I am not any better than anyone else. I am not more devout, nor am I "holier than thou" or anything else. I just made a conscious choice to dress modestly and to wear a head covering in accordance with 1Corinthians 11. Also 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says to pray without ceasing. I cannot very well do that if my head is uncovered as 1Corinthians 11:5 says But every woman praying or prophesying with her head unveiled dishonors her head. For it is one and the same thing as if she were shaved. So am I to put it on and take it off numerous times per day? That would be silly. So I leave it on. Be well my brothers and sisters.
