@Liesa18 A lot of pro Sj'ers look down, it's not such a big sin as it's made out to be, you just tell people that coz when you look down, generally that's where your body goes but high level showjumpers don't, and you often see photo's of them looking down :)

@Umbreonluvr61391 Yes. You will always have a dystocia - a difficult foaling, which damages the mare reproductively, and can result in her death. Most times, one or both of the foals will be born dead, and usually they don't even make it to term, horses just havn't evolved to carry twins.

How can it be considered 'excessive' when the horse can go that fast naturally? Hitting a horse really doesn't make it go faster either. I don't see anything wrong here, the horse is now totally familiar with the halter, and how stress free was that! I worked on a stud last year, and the general 'method' of haltering yearlings was to stand by the neck and rip it on as fast as possible - barbaric.
