Whats good youtube. My name is Monique Williams aka "MoBeatkeepa". I have been a percussionist since the age of 7 yrs old, dabbling in everything from Drumset, Latin Percussion, Orchestral Percussion,African and Island Percussion, and also Electronic Music. I have performed Jazz drumset live with famous jazz trumpeter/vocalist Byron Stripling and Jazz vocalist Kathy Kosins. I attend Georgia College & State University majoring in Music Performance with a concentration in Percussion. I am currently into my Senior year, working on alot of Electronic Music and live percussion.Ive over 10+ years of experience in percussion. I have studied under famed Percussionist/Percussion Educator Phil Stanger in Chicago, IL.I study under Ryan Smith of University of Georgia as of today.

Im principal jazz percussionist and principal jazz drumset player in Georgia College & State Universitys world famous Jazz Band under the direction of Dr. Todd Shiver. We as an ensemble have toured all over the Czech Republic May of 2007 playing in festivals, clubs, and other venues. It was a gracious pleasure to've been able to do that. Recently i was featured as front page news in the Milledgeville, GA local newspaper, "The Union Recorder". I was front page of the University section with a full spread on the page entitled 'Drumming to her own Beat'. I have performed in Macon, GA, Milledgeville, GA, and Reynolds, GA with my jazz ensemble called "The Artemis Project" named after famous jazz musician Artemis Gordon.

As well as my jazz drumming i produce what people today may call "BEATS"..but to be honest my music in NOT in the category of beats. My music is just what it is..MUSIC...Every video that is on my page ALL have original muisc produced by ME using Acid Music Studio by Sony. With 30 tracks under my belt completedi continute to be inspired to do more, endure sleepless nights, tiring days, and maintain a vision that never dies. I AM Monique "MoBeatkeepa" Williams, I AM Success, I AM the CREATOR, I AM what MOVES YOU...I AM MUSIC..

I Aspire to be one of the most successful female producers/percussion performers that have ever walked this earth. Though my dreams are big and many other females share my passion, the thing that sets us all apart is MY OWN VISION of what Music is. So in MY OWN personal vision lies success within reach. In todays demanding music industry only artists or producers with a vision are prosperous, I INTEND TO BE ONE OF THE MANY.

My music can be described as indescribable depending on what it is. It speaks on Hiphop, Jazz, Reggaeton, and Electronic.I want my muisc to make you feel something. It doesnt matter what emotion i just want you to feel something.Feel happy, sad, up-beat, hate, love, chill, tranquil, serene, rowdy, excited, WHATEVER IT MAY BE..Whatever you feel in my music then thats what it is with respects to your emotion. I define my music as being an extension of me. I am full of emotion, I am full of passion, I am MUSIC...Put me in ya ear..

Im a real big sports nut as far as playing sports not watching them, although i do watch alot of College football, and womens college basketball, I love to eat, sleep and drink MUSIC, and just eat and sleep too. I like to chill out wit friends and fam, EAT EAT EAT EAT and EAT, but i stay in the gym so you wouldnt be able to tell, listening to vinyl records for authenticity and genuine music.
