It could be sung from the point of view of a true Christian struggling to keep his faith, but plagued by doubt because of disillusionment with Churches and other corrupt institutions, the seeming absence of God in the world, and the sorry state of human...

@aoxxi: They always did like to experiment with different sounds. This is just the latest one. Also, I love Nihil, Xtort, and Symbols myself, but I would like to know why you chose those three, when Money, Angst, and Naive are great themselves.

This is one of those songs that kept me alive and strong from age 12-15. The bands I get really into always tend to be Australian or to move to Australia.

A question for the really old fans: what was the Goth community's general attitude toward Nephilim when the band was more current? I know that that one British magazine had quite a blast spoofing them. Does this reflect the attitude of the fa early fans at all?

I like sisters, bauhaus, nephilim and all that. BUT I don't see why goth rock is called its own style of music. It's just post-punk and new wave bands with a certain fashion statement, right?

@PreacherNny : It actually is an eerily accurate series! It cracks me up everytime in pt 1 when "Crap and so forth series 8" plays--if they hadn't said anything, I could have mistaken it for an actual Skinny Puppy song LOL!
