Title track from the 1983 album Hyperborea, is one of the most atmospheric tracks of the 80's period. I always wondered if the word 'Hyperborea' had a meaning. When I looked it up, I found it was the name given in Greek mythology to a fabled land far to the north, where the sun shines 24 hours a day and the people live a thousand years. Various locations for Hyperborea have been suggested, including Greenland, Scandinavia and Siberia, although it could be anywhere above the Arctic Circle. Images used in the vid are of the 'midnight sun' and the 'northern lights', both of which would have been visible from Hyperborea.
Hi, Mitchy! I saw "in the lap of gods" and "the ace of swords"... I like very much Alan Parsons, and I agree with you that "Pyramid" was the best album, I love some songs of it... Your vids are really BEAUTIFUL! I've suscribed your channel... GREAT WORK!!! Regards, from Argentina!
