I was x-tian for many years actually. When I looked at what supported my beliefs, I really didn't find anything. That's what lead me to becoming an atheist. I need more than threats of "believe or burn in hell".

You just see me here because I find all the misinformation on these issues here to correct. The "atheist site[s]" as you call them, tend to have much, much less of that.

If you take your supposed claims supporting a young earth and look into the claim for validity, you won't find it to be credible. I see a lot of classic ones that have been presented by Hovind and others but the fact is that none of them ever agree with what the data or scientists...

You may be on to something. Football is a really boring sport. Hockey is better in every way. But anyway... if I see misinformation in a video posted by this user or see a post that contains misinformation in response to a video, I'm going to go ahead and chime in seeing that I can.

Again, simply saying there is evidence doesn't make it so. I'm not really getting your "desire" thing for not believing? I don't believe in Hinduism for the same reason I don't believe in christianity. Because neither gives me any reason to believe I will take the honest position ...
