Moose have to be that big to survive in the land of the grizzly. They also have symbiotic relationships with flying squirrels which aid them by flying above and keeping a watch. In return, the flying squirrels eat barnicles and moss off the back of the moose.

Too get that close to a mother bear and her grizzly, one has to be a bona fide bad ass. A mother brown bear is structured to fend off male bears that weigh up to 1600 pounds. I guess the moose must look like a cactus.
