I am a lvl 10 gymnast.
I've been competing for 10yrs.

In the season of '09, I competed as a level eight gymnast, although at the time, I was fed up with the sport and wanted to quit after competing as a level six for four years just before that. Regional Championships of that season was the best meet of my life which would be a good thing for anyone who was actually good at the sport. However, the only "good thing" I did at that meet was make my pommel horse routine, for the first time of that whole season, and stick the dismount in my floor routine, which was a round-off whip back to back handspring to back full. It was not until after I got home from that meet that I found out I literally came in last place on high bar from multiple falls on the Endo and almost last in the all-around! This information inspired me to not only continue the sport, but it motivated me to show everybody my true potential in this sport as well! As soon as I got back in the gym I was very focused and worked diligently to become the athlete I am today. I did not mess around and I was determined to salvage my reputation the following year. I figured if I could have the best season of my life I could finally be done with the sport and leave on a "good note". As the summer went on I realized how much better I was getting and how fast I was learning skills. For example, I caught my first Jaeger in less than two weeks after I started training it. I also learned a double full and a triple full all within the same month and just before I turned fifteen years old! ! In total I competed 21 new skills (i.e. double back on floor, a double back off parallel bars, a Endo Healy to mixed grip on high bar, etc.) that I had learned that previous summer in the season of '10. Even though I actually trained 24 new skills, the Jaeger, Healy on parallel bars, and the laid out Tsukahara were not consistent enough to compete. After I had realized how much better I was becoming and how fast I was learning everything, I decided I actually liked doing gymnastics, and I would continue it as long as I can!

My future goals include qualifying to JO Nationals 2012, competing for a college team, and eventually competing on team USA at the Olympic Games or at a World Championships.
