Movies:
TV: Dark Shadows - (Original/Revival); I also love "Starman," another short lived series that could have lasted longer. Michael Cavanaugh is one of the stars so it's a given for me to like it. There's also: Doctor Who (Both the classic period, which I prefer, from 1963-1989 and the new series continuation. Especially with Matt Smith), Star Trek - The Original Series, Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, Night Gallery, Sherlock, Kojak (just getting into this and love it), Classic detective shows (they don't make them like they used to), Monty Python and Are You Being Served? are favorite Brit comedies, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, One Step Beyond, Ryan's Hope (A classic soap focused on an Irish family. How can I not love this with my heritage?), suspense anthologies in the vein of Tales of Tomorrow and the like, etc. Movies: House and Night Of Dark Shadows, Harry Potter Series, Lord of the Rings, Hammer Horror, Universal Horror, Mysteries, Thrillers, Hitchcock, Majority of Steven Spielberg films, Period and historical, Gone With The Wind, Wizard Of Oz, The Innocents, Inglourious Basterds, Inception, Star Trek movie series (with original series cast), James Bond series, etc.
Books:
Harry Potter series; Turn of the Screw by Henry James; The Crucible by Arthur Miller; the works of E.A. Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, Stephen King, Ray Bradbury... Gothic, mysteries, historical, romance, paranormal, Haunted Places, Dark Shadows material for both versions, Books on favorite film actors/actresses, Film genre focus, Encyclopedias on paranormal and the bizarre, etc.
