@strengthofwill Cause Kondakova is not that good and deserve to have at least 1.5 points less everytime ? The question is how can Joanne score so close to Maksymenko, Staniouta, Charkasyna ect. They are much better.

@GoldeneMeerjungfrau Well, Kanaeva is great but she is overcaution and sometimes she doesn't know what to do with her hands, arms, body in general. She is getting better but at the same time, her routine are getting more and more difficult and she starts to have trouble now...

@Brensek Pivots have to be done on a high releve. So technically she as a half of a pivot in this routine.

Her choreo reminds me the rabbi Jacob dance. Hilarious. Hope they fix this, she can go to the olympics with this. She can do much better than that.

@Planetimage2 Excuse me ? Komova is fantastic gymnast, she has the difficulty, the execution and the artistry. She is the perfect package. Her beam is really good when she hits, it's clean, it's well executed and it's graceful. What happened during AA, TF and EF is not what she is capable of.

@TopModelkaaa oh yeah she was. Such a natural talent, flexibility. She was sooo good back in Sydney, really bad she lost her hoop. But she had a really bad coach, and she started to be sloppy and messy with time. She was the shadow of herself in Athens and did not deserve that gold medal.

@outthehead Air conditioning was on. You can see she has no control on her ribbon (which is so NOT Besso). Kanaeva and many gymnasts had issues during this competition.

@MsAussiechic actually, the younger, the more flexible you are. Girls doing rythmics are much better than her at her age and they re not supposed to be contortionists. I'm not saying she is not good, but she's got some work to do if she wants to continue in the future.

Daria is such a messy gymnast, I'll never understand how some people can thing she is better than Zhenya. Zhenya has better pivots, better balances, better leaps, and better flexibilities. She is more clean, more artistic, more elegant, much much much better.

@devinkevin5 Talent has nothing to do with that. She is lucky. Bad days happens in gymnastics even to the talented girls. Jordyn was very lucky lie many gymnasts who has scary landings as well.
