I have been struggling with eating disorders, my weight and self acceptance for the majority of my adolescent life.
Eating Disorders are not diets, they are diseases. I am not 'Pro Ana'- I would never want anyone who doesnt go through this Hell to ever think that this is a glam or happy life. It's a mind trap that backfires, tricks, pushes and kills you.
I beleive that if someone is old enough [above age of consent], has explored recovery and the reasons behind their ed, and has still decided to continue in their ana/mia state of life, it is there choice to do so. I encourage that anyone living with an ED visit medical professionals regularly.
