I don't have any kids of my own but my littlest sister is 2 years old and over the summer we were out in the yard blowing bubbles and she had the idea to "eat" bubbles out of the air. @largeaquaticmammal no contacts have little to no irritating effects on your eyes. I wear prescription contacts daily and have tried cosplay contacts too. If your contacts are kept clean and moist you shouldn't be able to feel them on your eye.(:
